Cyber cell constituted in Ghaziabad

To deal with the cases related to cyber crime, a cyber cell has been constituted in the district police with seven inspectors, one sub-inspector and three constables in it.
Senior Superintendent of Police KS Emmanuel said the new cell would deal withwith e-banking frauds, circulation of obscene literature through e mails, online threats, credits, password hacking and other such crimes.
SP (Crime) Shravan Kumar and DSP Manish Mishra have been deputed as nodal officer for the cell.
"I myself will monitor the working of the unit," the SSP said.
A team of experts will train the officers and cyber crime workshops will be organized on 18th 19th of every month, he added.
