Ambassador of Czech Republic to India Miloslav Stasek along with a seven-member business delegation called on Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda here today to discuss various issues of mutual interest and expressed desire to invest in Haryana, an official spokesman said.
Haryana Renewable Energy Minister Harmohinder Singh Chattha, Power Minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav and Industries Minister Randeep Singh Surejewala also attended the meeting.
Miloslav Stasek said that Haryana has witnessed fast pace development in almost all spheres during the last few years.
He said that in power sector, they intended to have mutual cooperation in the field of thermal power, Bio-mass and Solar Energy.
Similarly, in the area of water management, they were keen on mutual cooperation in treatment of waste water and purification of drinking water.
In the area of solid waste management, they intended to have mutual cooperation in production of energy from the communal waste and production of Bio fuel from agriculture waste.
Hooda said that there is problem of brackish water in some parts of the State and this is the area where the State Government needs technological intervention so that the quality water is made available in these areas.
He also offered the delegation to launch a pilot project in any one of these villages on experimental basis.
On this Miloslav assured the Chief Minister that he would take up this matter with the Czech authorities.
Hooda also designated Principal Secretary to Chief Minister S S Dhillon as nodal officer of the State Government to hold future dialogues on the issues of mutual interest between Haryana and Czech.
While laying stress on the need of treatment of waste water, Hooda said that 50 million litres per day waste water is available in the State.
