Daniel Radcliffe to play doctor in TV drama
The project will also star Jon Hamm, who will play the older version of Radcliffe's character and will appear in his later years in the four-part drama, reported Sun online.
"This is a great role for Daniel and he's pretty excited about the prospect of working with Hamm. He's a big 'Mad Men' fan and feels he can learn a lot from Hamm," a source said.
"But he knows all about Daniel's qualities, too, so he'll also be doing some learning," the source added.
The series will incorporate some dark humour as the doctor attempts to overcome self-doubts about his competence. PTI JCH NDS
