According to local media reports three persons, including a child, were killed in the landslide that occurred in Syangja.
In separate incidents yesterday, two persons were killed when their house was buried in Myagdi district of North-West Nepal and three others including two minors, were killed in landslides in two different villages in Palpa district, police said.
"At least 81 people have been killed in different parts of the country due to flood and landslides triggered by incessant rain over the past five weeks' period, while thirty others have gone missing and 22 injured in the country this season mid-June," said a Nepal Home Ministry statement.
The government has so far distributed Rs 13.72 million to the families of the victims of natural disaster.
Police and the Army are trying to rescue victims trapped by landslides.
