Delegation demands probe into Rudrapur riots

The delegation, led by Maulana Zahid Raza, requested the Governor to order a probe into the violence at the earliest.

It also demanded a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for each bereaved family, members of the delegation said.

Communal clashes broke out in Rudrapur in Udhamsingh Nagar district on October two last year over an alleged act of sacrilege leaving four dead and scores injured.
