Delhi BJP assembly election committee discusses candidates

The Election Committee of Delhi unit of BJP today discussed various issues relating to coming assembly polls including selection of party candidates.
Sources said modalities for selecting candidates were discussed in the meeting presided by Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel.
The Delhi unit is expected to send the first list of around 20 candidates by early next week to the party's central election committee.
Sources said the first list of candidates may be announced by September 18.
The party has already decided to consider giving tickets to municipal councillors.
