The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit here.
The widows should enrol themselves before July 31 to get the benefit with retrospective effect from April 1, 2012, Dikshit said.
The scheme allows a direct cash transfer of Rs 600 per month to Aadhar-enabled bank accounts of senior most female members of those families which are not covered under public distribution system and do not have BPL and ration cards.
The Cabinet also gave nod for setting up a 200-bedded hospital at Ambedkar Nagar and decided to appoint National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC) Ltd as the executing agency for the plan, design and construction.
