The diplomats were given a detailed briefing by the army on India's role in the war which saw at least 74,187 Indian soldiers martyred.
The 'Corner of Remembrance' has old letters, an old home in neglect with belongings of soldiers, giving a feeling of anxiety of the families waiting for their kin to return home.
The 'Sacrifice Hall' includes replicas of Amar Jawan Jyoti, Indian memorials, busts and paintings of Victoria Cross winners in India and abroad.
The guests also took a round of the WW1 bunker replica which had props showcasing the living conditions Indian soldiers had endured for years during the war.
Water jugs, guns, knives, plates and flasks among others used by the soldiers were on display inside it.
