"The artificial clay courts are being laid out by an Italian company, Claytech and the installation is being supervised by an international official from Germany," DLTA Director Manpreet Kandhari said.
"We have done it for hosting Rendezvous matches and we also plan to organise a clay court tournament on the newly-laid courts in future," she said.
The Rendezvous competition will be held from February 8 to February 12, where country's best Under-18 players (boys and girls) will compete for a chance to enter the junior French Open singles main draw.
The winners of the Indian leg will face competitors from Brazil, South Korea and China in the Playoffs in Paris and the eventual champions will get a wild card entry to the Roland Garros.
