The company has "relaunched its Esomeprazole Magnesium delayed-release capsules in the US market. The relaunch is due to a change in the capsule colour", Dr Reddy's Laboratories said in a statement.
The company's product is generic version of AstraZeneca AB Corporation's acid reflux drug nexium.
In November, a US court had directed Dr Reddy's to temporarily stop selling its generic version in the US due to the usage of colour purple in the capsules.
AstraZeneca had argued that the Purple Pills (Prilosec and Nexium) have been famous for many years through extensive advertising both to doctors and patients, industry-leading commercial success, and extensive publicity, among other reasons.
