Acting on tip off, a special investigation team (SIT) yesterday raided the house of Farooq Ahmad Wani, the kingpin, and recovered 3000 bottles of narcotic substance, a police spokesperson said.
The truck bearing a Haryana registration number, which had bought the consignment, has also been seized, he said.
The bottles were to be transported to different areas of south Kashmir, he said, adding that further investigations into the matter are on.
