A private sector fund house, DSP BlackRock Investment Managers today said it has launched its new digital campaign, #Taxytis to urge people to start tax planning and create awareness about its Tax Saver Fund.
The campaign highlights the heightened frenzy most people go through around January every year, which typically marks the beginning of the tax planning season.
"Our campaign is an attempt to bring forth a simple but hopefully clutter breaking concept that bases itself on situational humour and quirky characterisation to effectively address a hitherto serious and possibly onerous subject," DSP Blackrock head-consumer marketing, Abhik Sanyal said.

Industry seeks waiver of GST on LPHN biscuits
The Rs 36,000 crore biscuit industry of the country has demanded complete waiver on Good & Services Tax on Low Price High Nutrition (LPHN) biscuits priced under MRP Rs 100 per kg.
"LPHN biscuits are the only hygienically produced affordable snack sold in small packs retailing at Rs 2 to Rs 5. While there is a 62 per cent weighted average hike in input costs (Maida, Sugar and Vegetable Oil) over the last decade the Biscuit Manufacturers have been unable to increase their realisation pro-rata," vice president and spokesperson of the Biscuit Manufacturers Welfare Association, Mayank Shah said in a statement.
On behalf of over 600 manufacturers of LPHN biscuits retailed at up to MRP of Rs100 per Kg, I urge the GST Council to completely exempt LPHN biscuits, he added.
