Syed Shahnawaz Meyan Noori and Vikash Narang were apprehended from Govindpuri yesterday on a tip-off, Additional Commissioner of Police (South-East) Ajay Chaudhry said.
With this, four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident which took place in Govindpuri on May 23.
"The men entered the house of Krishna Devi posing as MCD employees. They asked for drinking water and entered the flat and then overpowered her. They stole gold and Rs 1.25 lakh cash," Chaudhry said.
Noori, who hails from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, was allegedly involved in a murder case in Bareilly in 2009. He was released from Bareilly jail and soon after release, he came to Delhi and started living with his girlfriend in Tughlakabad Extension. Vikas is a driver.
