Ed Sheeran to guest star in 'Game of Thrones' season seven

Singer Ed Sheeran is all set to do a guest appearance in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones".
The singer took to Twitter to confirm the news as reports started flooding the social media.
"Guess the cats out the bag...(sic)," wrote Sheeran.
The producers of the HBO TV series have confirmed the musician will feature in a cameo in the seventh season of the show, reported BBC.
Speaking at the SXSW film festival in Texas, creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss, show's producers, said they had been trying to get Sheeran to work with them for a while.
Sheeran's role is still under the wraps.

However, it was suggested Sheeran was roped in for "GOT" as a surprise for actress Maisie Williams (who plays Arya Stark) because she is a big fan of the singer.
The new season is set to premiere on July 16.
