Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne is all set to star in upcoming historical thriller "The Last Days of Night".
The 34-year-old "The Danish Girl" star has signed the film, which is based on an adaptation of Graham Moore's novel of the same name, reported Deadline.
Redmayne will essay the role of Paul Cravath, a young lawyer from Columbia Law School.
The film, which revolves around the epic clash between industry titan George Westinghouse and inventor Thomas Edison over one question: who invented the lightbulb?, will be directed by Morten Tyldum.
The movie will hit theatres next year.
