Nestled in the tony central Mumbai area, the Playboy SuperClub is an invite-only outlet, which will cater to the denizens of the city that never sleeps. The club is opening tomorrow at the swanky Birla Centurion to the most elite and invite-only nightlife crowd of the megapolis.
The first Playboy Club was opened in August 2014 in Hyderabad but the Mumbai Club is the first SuperClub from the Playboy stable, which will be open to the members from November 12.
Parag Sanghvi-led PB Lifestyle along with Viiking Ventures Sachiin Joshi and Naitik Goyel (partner of the Mumbai Club) is bringing this club extraordinaire to the megapolis.
The franchisees have also brought in the nightlife connoisseur Dino Morea to promote the city's only true superclub that is poised to become the cynosure of party-goers and the city's resident poseurs and hobnobbers.
The Club, sprawling on an 8,000 sqft prime real land in the heart of Worli, and is designed in avant-grade style with the best sound and light technology to match the clubs from across the world.
It has a 45-ft high ceiling combined with the world-famous Outline Butterfly line array sound system and LED HD screens. The 15-ft wide, king-size DJ booth is surrounded by LED HD screens, CO2 effect cannons and other advanced technology components. The advanced LED Pixel centrepiece rig offers visual effects equalling an UFO effect.
The Mumbai Club also has an elite cottontail member's oly lounge and three 25-ft long bars peopled with world-class bartenders. The members of the Club here get access to exclusive Playboy Clubs across the country and also those in Los Angeles, Beirut, London and Cancun.
PB Lifestyle is planning to the Playboy branded hospitality chains from retailing the Playboy merchandise including clothing, accessories, etc. It is also planning a 50,000-ft 4-story Playboy Mansion, but the company did not offer more details like location and opening date. It has already announced 31 outlets by March 2018.
