Identified as Tanisha Kabra, the girl is a sixth standard student of the SKS International School.
"When I reached school yesterday, I was asked to remove my sweater on the ground that it did not have the school logo on it," Tanisha told reporters here today.
She was asked to stand in the chilling cold for her "mistake", the girl said.
Later, Tanisha fell down while climbing the stairs, due to a sudden vertigo because of the cold and ended up fracturing her hand.
Meanwhile, District Education Officer Sanjay Goyal said that he came to know about the incident through the media and added that strict action would be taken after a probe.
