Elderly man murdered

by unidentified assailants while he was sleeping outside his house near here, police said today.

Sardara Singh was found lying in a pool of blood yesterday outside his house at Pranpura village, 20 km from here, they said.

He was killed with sharp edged weapon, police said, adding that efforts are on to nab the culprits.
