The Election Commission has initiated the programme with an objective of compiling error free and authenticated electoral rolls, which is essential in democracy, East Godavari's Joint Collector S Satyanarayana said.
As a part of the programme launched in the district yesterday, linking and authentication of EPIC data with Aadhar data of UIDAI, voluntary disclosure by electors concerned of multiple entries pertaining to them, correction of errors or any relevant entry and improvement of image quality would be done, he said.
The NERPAP would continue till July 31 this year and the final error-free rolls would be ready by August 15, he said and requested political parties, NGOs and the electors to actively participate in it for effective results.
