The 42-year-old rapper was originally attached to play the lead in Antoine Fuqua's film and though he dropped out of the project, Eminem made a contribution to the soundtrack, reported Aceshowbiz.
He tweeted a link to the trailer and wrote, "Sneak peek of some new stuff I've been working on in the @SouthPawMovie trailer. World premiere!"
A snippet of the yet-to-be titled track can be heard towards the end of the two-and-a-half-minute video showing Jake Gyllenhaal as a boxer on a downward spiral who's trying to rebuild his career and regain custody of his young daughter after a tragedy.
