The Tribunal yesterday issued the arrest warrant against Joy in a case related to Dentsu Marcom Pvt Ltd's plea against an assessment order paased by one of the Assistant Provident Funds Commissioners.
On April 22 too, the Tribunal had issued an arrest warrant against Joy, but the commissioner (CPFC) got a stay from the Delhi High Court with the undertaking that he would appear before the Tribunal on May 2.
However, Joy failed to appear before the Tribunal yesterday.
The Presiding Officer of the Tribunal, Harish Gupta, said, "It seems that CPFC is playing hide and seek game with this tribunal, which is condemnable in the eyes of the law."
When contacted, Joy declined to comment on the issue stating that the matter is sub judice.
