The former army jawan Shasi Bhushan Singh alias Fauji and his assistant Rishi Kumar were arrested from near Jokihari chowk under Vhelahi police station of Bihar's East Champaran district last night, Superintendent of Police Binay Kumar said.
Kumar said police seized two local made pistols, 15 cartridges, one motorcycle and 15 sim card including 10 Nepali sim cards and a diary from them.
Fauji and his assistant, who took shelter in Nepal, were wanted in a several criminal cases lodged in different police stations under Muzaffarpur, East Chamaparan and West Champaran districts, Kumar said.
Fauji, a resident of Kathaiya village under Kathaiya police station in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, had worked as Army jawan from 1995 to 2004, Kumar said.
