"We have sought Rs 1,300 crore for this fiscal out of which the government gave Rs 500 crore. We are awaiting for the remaining Rs 800 crore," he told reporters on the sidelines of the Ficci Banking Conclave here today.
During the current fiscal, he said, growth could be somewhat muted due to equity constraints and IDEAS (India Development Economic Assistance Scheme) which came into being in 2015.
Last fiscal, the bank disbursed Rs 50,000 crore, registering a growth of 18 per cent over the previous financial year.
The bank is also planning to open USD 10 billion line of credit for African countries.
To a query, he said the bank was taking 'reputation' risk for the controversial Rampal power project in Bangladesh, an Indo-Bangla JV.
