Fan files police complaint for action against errant players

A cricket fan here today filed a complaint with the city police seeking action against three Rajasthan Royal players, arrested by Delhi police on charges of spot-fixing in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
In his complaint, K P Ramakrishnan, referred to the recent arrest of S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila and sought action against them, police said.
He further sought a case be registered against them under Sections IPC 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating).
Police said they have not yet filed an FIR on the complaint.
Besides the three IPL players, police have also arrested one former Ranji cricketer and several bookies bringing to light the spot-fixing scandal in the ongoing Indian Premier League.
