A dispute between two groups over control of the temple in NIT area had been continuing for long and after the matter reached court, it asked the civic authority to take over control of the temple till a verdict was pronounced on the matter.
Following the court order a couple of days ago, the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad today took over control of the temple.
Faridabad Sub Divisional Magistrate Mahabir Prasad led a police force to the temple for taking over its control.
Former MLA Chander Bhatia was present at the site. Temple Trust president Rajesh Bhatia accused Chief Parliamentary Secretary Seema Trikha of indulging in "dirty politics" which he said has led to this situation.
