Father, 3 kids die as truck hits bike

Four members of a family, including three children, were killed and another was injured after a truck hit their motorbike near Gangoh police station here.
The incident happened yesterday when Bintoo, a resident of Ghogre village, was returning from a marriage ceremony at Gangoh along with his wife Anju and three children on the bike, SP (Rural) Jagdish Sharma said today.
Their motorbike was hit by the speeding truck from the rear killing the children - Vikrant (5), Partigya (3), and Virat (1.5) - on the spot, Sharma said.
The injured couple was admitted to the district hospital where Bintoo succumbed to his injuries, Sharma said.

Anju is still struggling for life, he said, adding that the truck driver is absconding.
