Indian Super League side FC Goa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) in an effort to promote football in the state.
The MoU will give special emphasis on grassroots programmes and football infrastructure development, an official release said.
The move will see India-Europe collaborations in technology, framework and best practices along with innovations to suit local needs in Goa through various projects, programmes and initiatives aimed at supporting football.
EBTC is coordinated by EUROCHAMBRES, the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry with a mandate to facilitate India-Europe cross-border collaboration.
EBTC, amongst several others, represents the interests of the KNVB (The Royal Dutch Football Association) in India.
