Film lovers in Delhi will have a rare chance to watch several Assamese classics, including National Award winning ones, this month at a festival marking 80 years of cinema in the northeastern state.
"Camera Along the Brahmaputra - Celebrating 80 Years of Assamese Cinema" will screen eight films from April 13-14 and 16-18.
Organised by the India International Centre Film Club in collaboration with Assam Association, Delhi, the festival is curated by filmmaker-critic Utpal Borpujari.
