Critic Utpal Borpujari's English-Nagamese documentary 'Songs of the Blue Hills' has been selected in the non-feature category.
The jury selected 26 movies in the feature section and 15 in the non-feature film segment.
Seven Marathi and Malayalam films, including this year's national award winning 'Yellow' and 'North 24 Kaatham', are among the movies selected for the feature by the jury headed by renowned filmmaker from Odisha A K Bir.
While Paresh Mokashi's Marathi film 'Elizabeth Ekadashi' gets the honours as the opening film of the Indian Panorama, other notable selection includes Marathi film 'Killa', which premiered recently at the prestigious film festival Berlinale has bagged the top award.
In the non-feature category, 'The Last Adieu' by Shabnam Sukhdev will be the opening film while 'Candles in the Wind' by director duo Kavita Behl and Nandan Saxena, which received a special mention at the 61st National Film Awards, also finds a place in the 15 films selected.
