The FIR was lodged at Katra Kotwali Police station here yesterday on the directives of Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Station Incharge S Ahmed said.
The alleged incident involving Regional Transport Officer Chunnilal and the MoS happened last month.
According to Chunnilal, the minister on June 12 called him at his office and asked not to let a clerk join the office. "I informed that it is mandatory to give joining as there was a High Court order in this regard," Chunnilal claimed.
Following the alleged incident, Chunnilal on June 20 moved an application in the court of CJM Rajesh Bharadwaj
Ahmed said a case under relevant sections of CrPC was registered yesterday.
