electrical short-circuit gutted the storeroom of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya here this afternoon.
According to the school authorities, the fire started at around 4 pm and goods worth over Rs five lakh were totally burnt.
The fire brigade rushed to the spot and prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings in the school.
Nobody was hurt in the fire. There were no student present during the incident.
