Fire in slum destroys several houses
Over 20 houses at Turpa Pada slum in Bramhand area of the city were gutted in fire on Friday.
Santosh Kadam of the Regional Disaster Management Cell said nobody was injured in the fire which broke out around 4.30 pm.
"But several shanties were completely burnt," he said.
The cause of the fire was being probed, he said.
