"The Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra should first find the killers of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar, only then can Pawar criticise the Modi government," Uddhav told reporters here.
Dabholkar was killed in Pune in August last year.
In a veiled attack on the Modi government in the context of the murder of a software professional in Pune, allegedly by activists of a Hindu outfit, Pawar had yesterday said that "certain ideologies" have become emboldened to spread communal fever after the BJP-led NDA formed the government at the Centre.
'Mahayuti' (grand alliance) is the name given to the five- party alliance comprising Shiv Sena, BJP and three smaller parties which won 42 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in the just-concluded Lok Sabha elections.
