Five killed in rain-related incidents in UP in 24 hours: Officials

Five people have been killed in rain-related incidents in the last 24 hours in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, officials said today.

"Two persons died in Allahabad yesterday. One person each died in Azamgarh, Pratapgarh and Lucknow yesterday," UP relief commissioner Sanjay Kumar said in an official statement.

Apart from this, three people were injured.

Two persons were injured in Lucknow and one in Farrukhabad yesterday, the statement said.
