There was no report of any death since yesterday and the flood toll remained at 90, a senior official of the state Disaster Management department said today.
Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur and Malda are the six affected districts in the state.
The situation in some areas of Malda district, however, still remained a matter of concern, the official said.
Nearly 59 lakh people have been affected by the flood and over six lakh hectares of crop area were damaged.
The number of relief camps have started decreasing with the affected people returning home.
Bus services are being resumed gradually in the affected districts.
