"I am not the only one who said focus on the party in power. Many of us have been saying within the group. I have become the voice to it," she said a day after she skipped a protest against corruption over differences on targeting BJP.
"Please focus on the party in power which can give us the law, which has proven that it has the numbers by getting its candidates elected to the post of President and Vice President. If they can do so, why can't they get the Lokpal Bill passed," she said.
In a post on Twitter, she said instead of bracketing all in coal scam, the demonstration of yesterday should have been for Prime Minister's resignation.
She asked, if we oppose everybody, who will give us the law.
Asked whether she will support India Against Corruption in future, she said, "It should remain non-partisan, remain inclusive and if they don't paint everybody with the same brush."
She said she wanted the movement to remain a national movement like it was earlier.
On whether she would support the party to be floated by Arvind Kejriwal, she said she will support good candidates.
On supporting BJP, Bedi said her support was issue-based.
Apparently referring to reports that she was pro-BJP, she said, "When you speak for an issue for which that party also stands today does not mean you have joined that party. That does not mean the party has incorporated you.
"The country must get used to independent voices without aligning them with interests and commitments."
