The incident came to light today after the neighbours complained to the police about foul smell emanating from her house in a high-rise, police said.
The deceased, Archana Pandey, has left a suicide note in which she held her boyfriend responsible for the extreme step, police said.
According to the police, Pandey had been staying on a rented apartment in A6 building at New Mhada Colony in Lokhandwala Complex. She had quit modeling profession in 2009 and started working in a production house.
"During the searches, we recovered a one-page suicide note in her bedroom, in which she held her boyfriend responsible for drastic step. A manhunt has been launched for him," the officer said.
