: Former Tamil Nadu chief secretary K S Sripathi has joined the board of city-based Shriram EPC Ltd as an independent and non-executive director with immediate effect.
Following the induction of Sripathi, the strength of independent directors has risen to more than 30 per cent on the board, Shriram EPC said in a notification to the stock exchanges Friday.
Sripathi, a 1975 batch Indian Administrative Services officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, has held various responsibilities, including Director and Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development, Vigilance Commissioner and State Chief Information Commissioner, among others.
Shares of Shriram EPC Ltd ended at Rs 11.30 apiece, down by 5.44 per cent over the previous close in the BSE.
