Additional District Judge Mohammad Gulam Gaus pronounced the order while hearing the case registered with Digha police station last year.
The four are accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old boy Ved Prakash for ransom and later murdering him.
The boy, a student of intermediate level, was kidnapped on April 21, 2014 and his body was found near the bank of river Sone on May 5, 2014.
After kidnapping, the accused had demanded Rs 10 lakh ransom and when they did not get the sum the boy was killed.
The victim's elder sister Poonam Devi had lodged a complaint with Digha police station in this connection.
The four awarded punishment are: Surendra Singh, Binod Kumar, Upendra Singh and Kameshwar Singh. The victim was related to the accused Kameshwar Singh.
