The incident occured at around 6.45 pm near Peddapalem village of M Cheruvu mandal of the district when the vehicle was on its way to Kadiri, the police.
The overspeeding vehicle hit the tree and overturned, resulting in the death of four persons on the spot, while two others sustained injuries, the police said.
The police is investigating further.
