Four persons arrested for wrong vehicle parking

Four persons were arrested for allegedly violating traffic rules, police said today.
Suresh Kumar, Harman Singh, Bhim Singh and Kamal Kuthila were arrested for wrongly parking their vehicles near a bus stop in Sector 9 creating obstruction in public way, Chandigarh police said in a press release here today.
Earlier, police used to warn violators through loudspeakers or stick challans on wrongly parked vehicles, after which the owners would have to pay nominal fine.
However, yesterday, cases were registered under various Sections of the IPC in Sector 3 police station here against the four for wrong parking of their vehicles.
All the four were later released on bail, they said.
