Transporters said easy availability of trucks in the market along with restricted cargo movements pulled down freight rates of some centres.
Delhi to Hyderabad, Guwahati and Vijaywada freight rates were up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 58,000 and rest both at Rs 60,000, respectively.
Freight rates to Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune freight rates dropped by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 30,000, Rs 33,000 and Rs 32,000, respectively.
Rates to Baroda, Patna and Surat also fell by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 25,000, Rs 27,000 and Rs 28,000, respectively.
