Freight rates for select centres dip on excess trucks position

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations eased by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following excess position of trucks against tight cargo movements.
Transporters said besides, easy position of trucks agaisnt restricted cargo movements pulled down freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Indore, Baroda and Pune freight rates were down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 20,500, Rs 2,300 and Rs 29,000.
Rates to Mumbai, Mysore and Puducherry also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 28,000, Rs 67,000 and Rs 69,000.
