Full op capacity of Pulichintala power station this year

In a boost to power generation in Telangana, the Pulichintala hydel power station in the state would start generating power to its full capacity during this year.
The works on the 120 MW plant are in the final stages, an official release said here today.
Telangana power generation corporation (TSGenco) CMD D Prabhakar Rao visited the Pulichintala project and took stock of the works, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.
The Genco has made arrangements to start power generation at the plant this rainy season when required water is received at the plant, the release added.
