Estimated at Rs 220.35 crore, the project was completed in record time, two years after work began in 2011.
After the programme, the Union Minister would leave for Guwahati to lay the foundation stone of ten road projects in several parts of Assam.
On May 2, Gadkari would hold review meetings with Chief Ministers, PWD ministers, Chief Secretaries of eight Northeastern states including Sikkim before leaving for Delhi on the same day.
