Gammon India wins Rs 870 cr road contact from NHAI

Infrastructure player Gammon India today said it has won a Rs 870-crore contract from NHAI for widening of a highway in Karnataka under NHDP.
The company has been awarded a "project for Four laning of Hospet - Bellary - Karnataka / AP Border" on NH 63 by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Gammon India said in a BSE filing.
The 98 km project has been awarded under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-IVB on Engineering, procurement and construction basis.
Gammon India is one of the largest players in the road sector with overseas presence in Europe and Africa.
