Girl engineering student attacked by 3 persons

A girl engineering student was allegedly attacked by three persons as she resisted their attempt to snatch her gold chain at nearby Kaniyapuram today.
Three persons have been apprehended in connection with the attack, Rural Superintendent of Police Shefeen Ahamed told PTI.
"It has to be verified if it was the trio who had attacked her this evening," the official said.
The girl has been hospitalised.
