The state-run tribal plans and schemes be taken up and road map be prepared to achieve time-bound goals with top priority, he said.
Oram was addressing an official review meeting with the officers here last evening.
The officers should identify the areas where the developmental and scheme oriented works were on slow pace, and give them proper priority so that they could be completed, he advised in presence of Rajasthan Minister for Tribal Area Development Nandlal Meena.
Education, Medical and Health, and Livelihood mission should also be given top preference so that tribal people could get all benefits of the central and state governments' scheme.
The Union minister asked the Rajasthan officials to prepare a comprehensive report on a number of schools, students, hostels operational in Rajasthan's tribal areas after comparing them with Gujarat and Maharashtra's schools, and send the report to the Centre.
Rajasthan Tribal Minister Meena stressed that the Centre should provide more funds and schemes to the state's tribal people saying this would be required to open new schools and hostels in the planned areas.
