The government has asked the Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited (GGHPL), which had moved the Goa bench of the HC, to produce relevant documents within 24 hours.
The HC had on Wednesday directed the state government to "consider the application filed by GGHPL pleading to renew licence of its offshore casino in Mandovi river."
State Under Secretary (Home) Neetal Amonkar issued an order last evening granting approval of licence to the offshore casino owner on the condition that the company should provide the required documents within 24 hours.
