Admitting that bridges are potential 'suicide points', Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar today said that steel nets would be installed to prevent the people from jumping off.
Parrikar was speaking after inauguration of online water bill payment facility here. Public works department minister Ramakrishna Dhavalikar was also present.
Nets will be installed along the sides of all the major bridges in the state by December 19 (Goa Liberation Day) this year, Parrikar added.
